All teachers want to use technology, but might not know exactly how, what, or when to use it. This session will allow teachers to build an organized technology toolbox that they can take back and use right away. We will discuss different tech tools and their functions for all grades and classrooms. Teachers will leave this session with some great “back pocket” tools, and tools they will not be able to teach without. Tools will range from everyday websites to google apps and extensions.
Tiffany has been a technology coach for 5 years! She has also been a classroom teacher for 6 years. She was the technology coach for Southwest School Corporation for 3 years during their iPad roll-out and now proudly works for Linton-Stockton School Corporation as the Technology Coach to launch their Chromebook roll-out. She is passionate about educating educators to better teach our students in the digital age.

Chad began teaching in 2003. In the fall of 2014, Chad was selected by the Indiana Department of Education as one of 25 teachers to be on a STEM curriculum writing team that wrote lessons utilizing new technology in the classroom. Through this experience he met his fellow EdTech Heroes. And through EdTech Heroes, Chad has found a new passion. This new passion is sharing his techniques and educational ideology with fellow educators. He is a Google Level 2 Certified Educator and lists as his superpowers blending meaningful technology into his classroom, STEM education, energizing students through project based learning, and ridding the world of boring professional development one conference at a time. Chad has presented at over 20 conference around the state of Indiana including ICE, HECC, Matt Miller’s Ditch that Conference and recently was chosen to teach STEM in China in the summer of 2018. He is the founder of Wabash Valley Maker’s Fest which is a STEM conference for students and educators in his area of the state.
